I had the privilege of illustrating this wonderful business book that instructs certified legal nurse consultants (CLNC®s) in the practical aspects of building a practice. While written and illustrated in a playful manner, the book provides concrete information, encouragement and business advice useful to anyone in business. My client, Vickie Milazzo of the Vickie Milazzo Institute trains nurses to become Certified Legal Nurse Consultants at 6-day seminars and in a home-study program. The book’s “magical” illustrations resulted from a decision to hold the national conference in Orlando, near the magical world of Disney, where Vickie presented the book to more than 800 CLNCs after her keynote address. The room crackled with activity as the nurses ripped open bright metallic envelopes enclosing their gifts. When they pulled the book from the envelope, a huge collective gasp traveled the room.
